Environmental Phase 1&2 Assessments

Enviro-Utilities, Inc. can perform Environmental Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Transaction Screening Assessments to current ASTM standards for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.  We have performed this service of a number for banking and governmental institutions, and other stake holders. 

An ESA is a report prepared for a real estate holding which identifies potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities. The analysis typically addresses both the underlying land as well as physical improvements to the property. Scrutiny of the land includes examination of potential soil contamination, groundwater quality, surface water quality and sometimes issues related to hazardous substances. The examination of a site may include: defining  any chemical residues within structures; and identification of underground storage tanks. 

The Typical ESA Phase 1 includes an extensive data search of government agency's records and an extensive site walkover of the subject property and curbside evaluations of nearby properties that are found in governmental environmental records.
